Kambah Pool
Kambah, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory
About This Beach
Kambah Pool is the only officially designated clothing-optional location in the Australian Capital Territory, situated along the Murrumbidgee River in south Canberra. While technically a river swimming hole rather than a beach, Kambah Pool has been officially recognised for clothing-optional use since the 1980s. The site features a sandy beach area alongside the river and is popular with Canberra's naturist community. The location offers a peaceful, natural setting surrounded by bushland.
