We’ve known for a while now that the FBA website needed a little refresh – something more flexible and dynamic that can give nudists and naturists the information they want about our great beaches around the country!! It’s been a little while in the making, because we want it to be flexible enough to handle our growth, as more people get involved and contribute more content.
For now, please take a look around and enjoy. If you have ideas for things you would like to see on the site, or things you want the site to be able to do (or problems you encounter while wandering around), just use the “Contact Us” link at the top of the page!! We’ve also noticed that there are still plenty of you using old bookmarks pointing to pages that don’t exist – please update your bookmarks, or just head to the home page as the default.
And we are always looking for contributors – are you passionate about our beaches, and want to write about it? Drop us a line – we’re looking for new contributors in every state, particularly if you have local beach knowledge and have your ear to the ground on local news and views!
does anyone know if the Fred Hollows day still occurs at Cobblers or Oblisk beaches in January?
Hello Brian. Bob (Reed) was contacted by the organisers of that event, when Bob was still the president of the FBAofNSW. We participated and invited members to participate. That only happened twice (as I recall) , all that long ago, before the FBAofNSW was disbanded.
I would be very surprised if this event ever occurred again. (It wasn’t so much “Fred Hollows Day”, as: Let naturists and or non-naturists do this for a good cause.)
